#1144 Red Shoes

English Title: Red Shoes
Korean Title: 분홍신/Bunhongshin
Year: 2005
Country: Korea
Running Time: 103 min
Director: Kim Yong Gyun
Genre: Drama/Thriller
Rating: 7.1

The movie is inspired by the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen!
The opening was very strong. It creeps me out!
But that's it for the first hour with some hallucinations moments only!
The ending is so complicated! I'm not really sure about it!
Is it the after life of the girls in Sun Jae & Tae Su
But the most question marks are why she killed his husband and In Cheol?
Because jealousy or just 'no one can take it away from me'?

Park Yeon Ah, the little girl, freaks me out with her debut performance.
And on her age of 7 (she's now 12)! Fabulous!
Kim Seong Su is so cute and hot!!! I want him as designer too LOL ^^

Summary:
Sun Jae leaves her unfaithful husband and moves into an old apartment with her daughter, Tae-su. One night when Sun Jae is returning home, she finds a pair of pink shoes in a subway car and takes them home. An obsession grows between her and the shoes, arousing envy and greed among mysterious, nightmarish visions. Even Sun Jae’s daughter and one of her friends, Kim Mi Hee, fall victim to the power of the shoes, resulting in hysteria and theft of the shoes.

With help from In Cheol, Sun Jae tries to discover the mystery behind the red shoes before it gets her and her daughter killed.
