This movie is based on the novel 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses'! The movie is not exactly the same as the novel! Some Different! If you now the novel & the movie u will know! ^^
This movie have really a big cast!! And great acting! Cannes Film Award 2007 & Asian Film Award 2008 best leading Actress Jeon Do-Yeon performance the 27 years old virgin! This the second time i watch her onscreen. Actually the first time. Because i really dont remember what her role was in the serie The Star in My Heart from 1997! Really want to watch her latest movie Secret Sunshine! The movie won so many awards! The also many awarded Bae Yong Joon performance a Casanovo! First time i watch him onscreen. I want to see his movie April Snow [2004] And the many awarded serie The Legend! That just finished airing in Korea! Many reaction about his nude scenes in this movie after he became famous of his role in Winter Sonata and they thought he will losing his reputation after it! But it hasn't any effect!
Story:
This film is set in aristocratic 18th-century Korea at the end of the Chosun Dynasty. The irresistible temptress Lady Cho asks her cad of a younger cousin, Cho-won, to deflower the innocent young Soh-ok, who is to become her husband's concubine. But, his attentions soon shift to the graceful and aloof Lady Jung, who lives according to her convictions as a Catholic. Cho-won becomes obsessed with seducing this chaste woman who has remained celibate for nine years since her husband's death. However, conquering the most virtuous woman in the land proves to be more difficult than Chosun's notorious playboy expects.
