#1024 La Femme - Final

Chinese: 绝对佳人
English: La Femme
Genre: Drama
Episodes: 25
Country: Singapore
Year: 2008
Rating: 7.1

My Though:
Its not my style of serie, but its very teach full about the family.
The connection between the parents and children is very important.
Not only family but also friends.
Love your family! Love your friends is the quote of this serie! ^^

The 3 different story of 3 women, the most likeable is the one from Xin Hui & Quan He! Family support is very important. You can have friends support, but family support is more important! You want the best for your children but you can threaten them!

Paige acting isn't very impressive! Maybe because I started watching her in Crime Busters X2, what was her third serie. This one is just the second!

Tiffany character is so different from Fallen Angel.
I'm not really like her acting in here and I think she was way prettier in Fallen Angel. Is it because her style and her hair?

- When Jia Ji want to divorce with Bao Yu. She got support from Min Min & Xiu Hui. The scene when they are playing a game was actually very touching.
- The so many proposal from Xing Xiong
to Min Min. The last one with the tree was the most romantic! Hehe

#1023 La Femme

Another Singapore serie!
This time La Femme aka 绝对佳人
I actually have no idea why I watch this serie.
Except Paige there aren't any favo in here for me!
Maybe because Tiffany after finishing Fallen Angel?

I don't think the story is very attractive.
Its a modern family drama mainly emphasizing on the lives of three women of different traits.

In this case the women are Zoe Tay, Ann Kok & Tiffany Leong
This is the first serie of Zoe Tay after her birth of her second child.
Tiffany Leong's acting was great in Fallen Angel!
So I expect many of her!
She will be pairing up with Shaun Chen again.
This is Ann Kok's first big role as second leader!
Tay Ping Hui will be her husband is taking the male lead!
This is Paige second serie! I haven't watch her first one.
So I can't say how her acting is compare with the first one!

Other stars are San Yow, Desmond Sim, Nat Ho.

This serie contains 25 [boring?] episodes ^^

#1022 Fallen Angel - Final

Chinese: 天使的烙印
English: Fallen Angel
Genre: Drama
Episodes: 25
Country: Singapore/Malaysia
Year: 2007 by NTV, 2008 by Mediacorp
Rating: 8.4

My Though:
Its not what I expected. The serie is full with hate & love.
The love story between the four main character is a little bit complicated.
Why did the serie started with 3 years after?
Although I was hoping for another ending but after so many thing happened through the whole serie. The ending is actually a happy ending but with many sad memories!
I was happy that Yong Yi didn't chose for Zi Yang after the death of Xue Wen.

I love Zzen in this serie!!
You can compare his character a little bit at his role in Rhythm Of Life.
Although I like his character in here much more!
He's so sweet against others. Even his love isn't his love anymore.
NOW I WANT TO WATCH PRICELESS WONDER!!
His first serie where he take the lead!
But I can't find it!!

I love Pei Xuan's character more in The Golden Path.
Her character is very different.
Although You can find her tomboy behavior back in here.
But more gentle further in the serie.
I like her very much with Zzen together!

Tiffany Leong did a great job!
Her acting was superiors as the mental Kai Qing.
In the beginning of the serie I couldn't even recognize her with her big belly.
She can be so different.

Summary:
In Fallen Angel, 2 hostesses with a sad past lead 2 very different lives. Yong Yi, who chose to forget her past, is happy and carefree. Kai Qing, on the other hand, keeps her sad memories close to her heart and is revengeful and bitter. Yong Yi and Xuewen are childhood friends who grew up together. Xuewen has secretly been in love with Yong Yi since they were kids, and has always stayed by her side to watch over her. Yong Yi’s parents run a fruit stall at the market. Her father Hu Gang and mother Mei Feng are widely known as a kind-hearted couple who are always willing to lend a helping hand.

Kai Qing is born to the rich Zhang clan. Romantically linked with her cousin Zi Yang since they were young, the two are regarded as the perfect couple. During a chance encounter, Kai Qing makes the acquaintance of Yong Yi and Xuewen. The three young people get along very well and become good friends. Through Kai Qing, Yong Yi gets to know Zi Yang. The latter two are deeply impressed with each other. Kai Yuan is the eldest grandson of the Zhang clan, and therefore the rightful heir to the family business. Unfortunately, he is also an immature and boastful young man. His grandfather Zhang Da Zhong finds himself unable to place much faith in Kai Yuan. Thus, Kai Yuan’s aunt Qiu Yue is put in charge of running Zhang Holdings. This makes Kai Yuan resent Qiu Yue, as he feels that she has no right to helm the family business. Thus, Kai Yuan often pits himself against Qiu Yue and Zi Yang just to spite them

Xue Wen & Yong Yi [Engaged]
Yong Yi, Hu Gang & Mei Feng [Family]

Hate:
Kai Qing
Kai Yuen

Memorable Scene:
- The one and only scene! Xue Wen's death! It was so horrible and so innocent! He finally get what he want but couldn't escape from the death!
- Xue Wen's love and support to Yong Yi. The courage he takes to love!

#1019 Fallen Angel

After The Golden Path another Singapore serie
Fallen Angel aka 天使的烙印
This serie is a collaboration with Malaysia.
This is also a remake from Mediacorp’s 2002 drama The Wing of Desire 天使的诱惑.
I have that serie on DVD but I never watch it!

This serie is about 2 women who both got a different life.
The one only want to have a happy life and the other suffer in the past.
When they both fall in love with the same guy and when the truth come out they are real sisters, the whole life changed for both and for the family and friends.

The 'Angels' are played by Cai Pei Xuan & Tiffany Leong.
Pei Xuan I watched in me previous serie The Golden Path.
She is one of the reason that I watch this serie.
She's becoming one of my favo on my list!
This my first serie of Tiffany Leong. I know her 'evil' character.
So I very curious about her acting!

My other reason to watch this serie is because Zzen Zhang.
He's actually best know for his role as Robert Zhang in The Little Nyonya!
But in here he's not a bad guy! ^^
This is one of his first 'big' role!
The first time he played a second male leader!
His good buddy Shaun Chen is taking the lead!
As well known he's playing the good guy lately LOL

Other cast is Kelvin Liew, Loo Aye Keng, Lee Boon Hai, Zhang Wei etc

I'm looking forward ton this serie!
The serie contains 25 episodes

#771 The Dream-Catchers - Final

Chinese: 未来不是梦
English: The Dream-Catchers
Genre: Drama
Episodes: 20
Country: Singapore [Mediacorp]
Year: 2009

I was so addicted to this serie!
I finished it in 2/3 days!
I really recommend this serie!
Much better than The Peak

I must say I love Tay Ping Hui & Jesseca's story more than Shaun & Rui En!
Shaun & Rui En became very bored!
I think because the appearance of Eelyn Kok!

It became so complicated while it good be so easy
And Elvin as a Japanese was way below!
Rui En performance wasn't @ her best!
As second female leader!
She didn't appear in some episodes or just a little shot!
That was way below!
I still think she could be better!
Shaun as a nice guy is so weird LOL
I like seeing him as a bad guy!
Eelyn Kok always plays evil roles!
She's so good in it! But very hate-able!
But maybe its just the screen name! LOL

Why I love Tay Ping Hui & Jesseca's more?
Because they got Paige & Zhang Zheng Huang beside them!
I LOVE THEM THE MOST OF ALL
But it was so pity that the met around episode 13 and don't have many scenes after!
PITY PITY PITY i was hoping for more!
Because they are really cute together!

After Crime Busters X2 I became a fan of Paige!
And in here she let you see another side of her as a Tomboy!
Really great acting!
I was hoping she won the Best Newcomer Awards but she lost to Dai Yang Tian
Zheng Zheng Huang also a newcomer! Is so cute!
This his first serie and i think he's great!

Very like Jesseca lately!
Although I haven't see many series of her but it's coming!

And there's another story for Dawn & Nat!
Dawn improved a little bit
She take the challenge to act something else!
And every times it succeeded!
Well Done!

Wang Qiang
Although they both went good @ the end! Still don't like them

Soundtrack:
Theme: 拭目以待 by 林倛玉

Memorable Scene:
- I can say all the scens from Xiao Wei & Yuan Ying. From the beginning when they first met till the end! Yuan Ying gave the courage to Xiao Wei from whatever happened stay strong and he's always by her side! And that he love the inside of the Xiao Wei and its not about the look!
* When Yuan Ying support her from the eye operation

#768 The Dream-Catchers

Starting a Singapore serie!
The Dream-Catchers aka 未来不是梦
I want to watch it earlier but i had to finished my USA series first!

This serie contains 3 of the 7 princesses! Jesseca, Rui En & Dawn!
I don't know but if Jeanette became 'a jie' than Paige should be one of the princesses, but i thought it wasn't so she's not a princess 'yet'!
But she's also in here!
The male leaders are Tay Ping Hui, Shaun Chen & Elvin Ng!
Nat Ho is also in it with debuting star Zhang Zheng Huan!

Other Cast are Richard Low, Lin Meijiao, Wang Huaqing & Eelyn Kok

The relationship is like this
*< -Zhang Zheng Huan - > Jesseca < - > Tay Ping Hui < - Paige - >
[ not sure but i think Paige and Zhang Zheng Huan loves eachother, because the pre]
*Eelyn Kok - > Shaun Chen < - > Rui En < - Elvin *Dawn < - > Nat

I'm happy there are many of my favo stars in here!
I hope more scenes of Paige!
And I love the relationship from Jesseca & Tay Ping Hui more than Rui En & Shaun!

This drama is about engineering! Hope this one is better than The Peak!
Because that was also about that kind of stuffs!
And it was very boring! so fingers cross!

It contains 20 episodes!
