#1920 Vapiano

Today I had my Vapiano of this month/week

This first time I took a pizza instead of a pasta

I just want something others ..

Although I still want to yamcha!!

I went there with Lae & Chuen

Just saying bye bye to sailow!

Who's leaving for 2 months!!

I'm so jealous!!!

I took the pizza with parmaham and Parmesan together with Lae

And Chuen the Salami one!!

I must say our pizza is delicious

If it don't take that long 

I will take it the next time again!

BUT still want to have yamcha!!

#1917 Today On Menu

Today I made my own peas soup!

Because my mother love it!!

The final results after 100 minutes

Together with all the vegetables and pork meat!!

#1916 Goodbye ^.^

Today I went to Schiphol to send Lydia and Luisa off

It was a short meeting but we will meet in London again 

for the Big Bang concert!

Before we had some lunch @ La place

My panini with bacon omelet

I must say this is something different

Because the 'bread' is different

This one is much tastier!

Because the bread was not enough

I took something away from Burger King

Angry Chicken burger with chili cheese nuggets

I'm so disappointed about the burger

First they forgot the onions!

The pain and lettuce were like 3 days old!!

The chili cheese nuggets make it all good!!

Typical dutch : Hutspot

It's mashed potatoes with carrot and onions!!

Together with pork meat/bacon and some gravy 

It's a while ago I made it ..

I love it ..

Especially the bacon make it really delicious!!

Next time I will make peas soup!!

Today I met my friend from Germany for the first time

Lydia and her little sister Luisa

The Big Bang Girl XD

I'm going with her to Big Bang concert in London!!

They are vegetarian so I really don't know what to eat

They want to eat pasta so we went to Vapiano!

I can't so NO to Vapiano

The first time in the other branch in Amsterdam 

I like the one from OBA more

This one got to much stairs!!

Anyway I took papperdella with aglio e olio !!

I should ask for more cheese!!

But love the minced garlic in it

BUT where are my peppers?

I asked for a little bit but he forgot!!

To bad we didn't make a picture!!

Next time!! Maybe Sunday XD

After I say goodbye to the girls 

I treat myself and my mother for these delicious Cha Siu Buns from Hoi Tin

I haven't eat a while ..

So I bought a dozen XD ...

#1912 Thais Food

Today a day off with my mother in Amsterdam

It was just so rainy but still went there

Because mother want to eat Thais food 

We shopped for some hours

My mother haven't went to Amsterdam after her holiday

So it's like 'new' for her 

But there wasn't many thing to buy and I was still raining

So after we just went to the restaurant Bird to have dinner 

I don't remind what all the dishes calls LOL

Only som tan or something?

The papaya salad LOL ..

The others are one with squid and pork meat ..

After I also took a dessert ...

Something with taro, rice and ginko nuts

I must say it was delicious ..

Only the rice .. LOL

I love Taro

My first time I made Siu Mai ..

HAHA they don't really taste the same 

BUT it's quite an artwork LOL 

BUT I prefer wanton more ..

#1905 Like A Tourist

The days are really flying

It's already my day off again

Today I'd met a friend of a 'friend' who visited Holland for a couple of days

I promised her for an interview

BUT to bad I couldn't help her ..

Because the questions are just not my category ...

I really feel sorry about that

I planned to take her to Anna Frank house together with Lae but to bad when we were there

The line up was to long so it ruined my planning

We actually hell don't know what to do ...

We brought Anna to her hostel so she knows were the hostel is

so she will know the way back ..

We just walked around..

Had some pancakes and 'cold' tea

Later Lae left us but Jessica joined us ..
We don't know what to eat
So we just went to Vapiano to have dinner
My fusilli with funghi was really NOT ...
Hope next time its better ...

Was nice meeting Anna
Although it was short and unplanned
Hope she enjoyed it and continue to enjoy her trip in Europe ..
And maybe I will see you in Korea ..

#1904 Today On Menu

Feels like I haven't cook for a while!

I made soup and Salmon gratin

The tofu soup with shrimps, corn, pepper and spring onion

It was a little bit spicy because the pepper

But It taste well ..

Especially the tofu .. what was so silky ..

The gratin Salmon is with corn and cheese 

with piri piri sauce ...

I think the presentation of these 2 dishes are very good!

LOL It's only my opinion ..

#1899 Today On Menu

My food from Tuesday and Wednesday ...

Beside my day off, work and sleep

I only cook and eat !! ...

I love cooking and can't stop with it!!

Tuesday:

Just a simple meal

Ramyun with shrimps, peas, green onion and a fried egg

Maybe I didn't feel really well

Because I didn't finish it ..

I only eat the shrimps and left the ramyun

Or the ramyun wasn't my taste LOL

Wednesday:

My famous wraps LOL

It only became more tastier because I add more!!

So like the previous time it's filled with

Chicken, salad, homemade guacamole, creme fraiche, wrap sauce

cheese, cheese sauce and cucumber ..

This time I added sweet corn and green onion

No onions this time ..

I think the corn give it more a crispy taste!!

Next time for sure I need to add more chicken meat!!

BUT the wraps are so big already

I couldn't even close some ...

It just burst out LOL ...

#1898 Before work

Before I start my working week

I met up with Jessica in Zaandam
To have a lunch and a walk in Primark

 Because it was so early we had some coffee @ 'De Koffiezaak'
I forgot the name of the coffee
But it was served with a chocolate lollipop
Jessica took something with many cream LOL
I forgot the name as well ...

So after coffee and a little walk it was already time to lunch

We had it @ Hema ..

They give the restaurant a make over and also the menu

Many things to choose and really not expensive

One dish won't be more than 5 euro!

The salmon with fries I've chosen was only 5 euro

The salmon was OK .. 

It was still a little bit raw but it was able to eat 

The fries overcooked for sure ..

The sauce with the salmon really match!!

The pain with croquet was a little bit expensive I think

They sold it for 3 euro and @ our shop its only 1,80-2,10 ..

And the quality of the croquet wasn't even that high!!! 

OK that's my opinion and I don't even eat it LOL

So after coffee and lunch it was time for Primark

There were already many Christmas things 

And cute things ..

Like these ear warmers and beanie ..

Cute but not cute enough to buy

I won't wear it on street LOL ..

So after ... I only spent 9 euro @ Primark
Shawl, socks, legging and hair ties LOL ..

Saturday do real shopping will start!!
FOREVER 21 here I come !!

Jessica joined me @ work ..
It was a little bit busy so I didn't have time for her
Sorry ... Saturday will be the day :D

#1897 High Tea

My day off in Amsterdam

I met Cindy who I haven't seen yet after my holiday in Korea

Our planning was high tea!!

I was a little but late so it became a late afternoon tea ...

We got high tea in the shop 'De Bakkerswinkel'

It was my first time to have a high tea ..

We got 2 sandwiches, 2 quiches with peas and zucchini, scone with clotted cream, scone with cheese cream, chocolate cake, carrot cake, cheesecake, 4 mini bonbons 

I really like the quiches.

I personally don't really like it but these were very tasty!

Also the carrot cake .. I was surprised .. 

It doesn't really taste like carrot ...

I will surely try and do it again ..

Maybe here maybe somewhere else ...

Or maybe make it by myself?

So after it we just walk around 

Looking for a present here and there 

We 'rest' to have some cold tea ..

Green Apple & Strawberry flavored tea ...

Just discuss where we can eat .. LOL

I really couldn't think of food again
I was still full from the high tea ...
After a while I just want to eat soup!!
So we went to found somewhere u can drink soup!

Well we found one but it was a take away restaurant
So NO ... it was cold outside ...

After many hesitating ..
We just ended up in the 3 sisters ..
Having an onion soup and Cindy a tomato soup
I regret to go there
The soup was just so simple!!

It was maybe better to go to L'opera
Because they got bread and cheese on it!!

But after all it was nice to see Cindy again after a long time
We just got so many chit chat ..
Next meeting will be on my birthday I think ..
Or maybe earlier to have lunch or something ..
Because we're both busy with work ..

#1896 Korean School 3.2 + Lunch

Bad start of my Saturday ..

I was already early but I didn't expect my bus was earlier

He just drove away in front of me!

So I need to walk to the station ..

While it was still dark and I was not feeling well!

SIGH .....

I was so lost ... I don't know where to go 

Because it was so early and I don't really like to go to school anymore

I just miss the old times and my class!

I don't dislike my class or something but they are just more loud than my precious one!

I also think they are much better

And I can't always keep up with the lesson

It's so fast ..

So many Korean and so less English ..

I really hope this semester can end so fast as possible! 

Because it's really my last one (till now)

After school I got lunch with some friends

This time @ Chinese Restaurant San Kong 

Recommended by my teacher Young Mee ..

Well maybe I will come back 

Because It's really nice

A set lunch for +/- 12 euro ...

Included with vegetables, soup, fruit and fried wanton

NOT BAD .. and close to our school!!

I actually want to make spinach with egg soup

But I made this after all

Spinach salad with squid

It's a cold dish

I used beside spinach and squid also wakame salad, green onion and red pepper

Finishing touch is the raw scallop on the top

#1893 My Buys ^.^

I'm saving for my college for Korea

BUT I just couldn't say NO to shopping from the 3 Crazy Days of 'De Bijenkorf'

and the 'Prijzencircus' of the V&D

Well I can say I didn't buy so many like last year

BUT still to many for me!!

Well what did I buy?

Well from the Prijzencircus I only bought a  guess bracelet

and a Jane Norman jacket for my mother

The bracelet was very cheap only 15 euro ^.^

I bought more from the 3 crazy days!

I only went Thursday and Saturday

Well for my mother I bought Ritual body lotion, Scenario dress, Mooia shirt and skirt.

That's double so much as what I bought ...

My buys were Estee Lauder & Clinique toilet bag with miniature products

Some products were already taken by my mother before I could shoot a picture LOL

The brownie pecan tart was for my little brother 

And Miffy push lamp and a music box ...

I love that one ..

Well that's not so much actually
BUT I guess I spent to much .. 'sniff sniff'
Saving again ... LOL
