#1229 Shaolin Girl

English Title: Shoalin Girl
Japanese Title: 少林少女/Shaolin Shojo
Year: 2008
Country: Japan
Running Time: 107 min
Director: Katsuyuki Motohiro
Genre: Comedy/Drama
Rating: 6.9

This a sequel to the 2001 Stephen Chow Chinese comedy Shaolin Soccer. For this movie he was working as the producer.

If you compare with Shaolin Soccer this was nothing!
A little bit waste of time!!
The fighting scene was really loose!
The 'dark side' ending was really sucks!

It was more a drama than a comedy!
Tin Kai Man & Lam Chi Chung saved the movie with a little bit of comedy
And when Kou Shibaski joined the lacrosse team!
But further it was nothing!!
Boring . . I fell in sleep in the last part of the movie!

So disappointed movie but with a great cast!
Kou Shibaski, my favo Japanese actress, couldn't save the movie with her high great acting! Although was nice to see her in a movie again after Dororo [what was also nothing]
Kitty Zhang, I know her from All About Women! I must say what a different!
I was irritating to her voice in All About Women! And just can't compare with this movie! Her Japanese is so cute LOL. Also I always though she was 'old' [because she looks old in the movie All About Women] but she's just so young! That means this role suit her really well!

This movie is adapted from a manga.
Searching reviews about this movie and they were quite good, but in my opinion it was a boring movie with a simple storyline.

Some fantasy scene that really are NOT
Talking mouse? Talking dead head? WTF
Ugly demons! REALLY NOT

Only the leaders save the movie!
