I thought it was a bored old kung fu ancient movie but it wasn't at all! It was damn FUNNY!!! Why i haven't watch it earlier i thought. But i remember why! Because i had to buy this vcd with canto/mando spoken. But i bought it wrong. Only mando spoken. And that time i wasn't so good in Mando so i put it away! Haha. But my mando improved very much. Can listen i think 90% of it! Thats good right? Neway this movie is a Lunar New Year movie and it was fun fun fun!! The main cast included big stars like Tony Leung, Faye Wong, Vicky Zhao & Chang Chen. They are so funny!!

Vicky Zhao one of my favo actress of mainland china had a good performance as Tony Leung's little sister. The 'bed' scene from her and Chang Chen was damn funny! And the scene where Faye brushed her teeth! And when Chang Chen rescued Vicky from Roy Cheung etc etc LOL. Her co operation with Tony Leung & Chang Chen was very good. Next year they will be together in a movie again. Red Cliff! with Takashi Kanashiro ^^ Leng Tjai Kam Sing Mo ^^ Hahaha. Then Vicky's charachter will be Chang Chen little sister!

English name: Chinese Odyssey 2002
Chinese name: 天下无双; traditional Chinese: 天下無雙
Year: 2002
Country: HK/China
Running Time: 97 min
Director: Jeffrey Lau
Producer: Wong Kar-wai
Genre: Comedy, Romance

Summary:
In Ming Dynasty China, two pairs of siblings are destined for each other. But fate throws countless obstacles in the path of their happiness. One pair is high-born: the young Emperor and his sister Wushuang, both confined to the Imperial Palace and very much under the thumb of their mother, the Empress Dowager. The other pair is decidedly lowborn: the wanderer Li Yilong and his sister Phoenix, who still runs a restaurant in Meilong. When both the young Emperor and his sister Wushuang contrive to leave the Palace and head south, they meet the loves of their lives in Meilong. But Wushuang has disguised herself as a man, and the Emperor is incognito. Numerous confusions, complications and misunderstandings ensue: genders and gender-roles are reversed, class differences prove hard to negotiate and identities and egos block the promptings of desire. It takes the interventions of a goddess to get everyone back on the right road. But it may be already too late to heal the wounds of disappointment and separation.
